It is no secret for those who know me that Halloween is one of my favorite holidays! It is so much fun to dress up and be out and about celebrating with friends, and let’s be honest you get candy as well… Sweet! This year our inspiration came from my son. He wanted to be the headless horseman (and no it did not come from the popular show Sleepy Hollow) as he loves Scooby Doo! My daughter wanted to be on the scary side as well, but honestly how scary should a toddler be? Gothic Rag doll seemed like a good compromise. We had never done scary costumes before, but getting inspiration from La Catrina and Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Mexican festivities was so much fun!
Hope you all have a fun and spooky Halloween!
Love my friend’s creativity and decor.
This Jack Skelligton cupcakes were so much fun to make! I love how quickly you can come up with ideas using Pinterest…I might be addicted.
I don’t bake very often but when I do, I have to try new things. I have never made cake pops before and decided to take make some mummy ones. I really love the final product. My trick for the icing, my husband!! He is much better than me when it comes to icing/frosting cake, cupcakes and now cake pops! I love you honey.
